While the Transpower Grid Emergency remains in place, load shedding through Vector’s network has alleviated the immediate pressure on the Auckland network.

Vector advises that power to the Auckland network is expected to be progressively restored over the next hour.

Mr Mackenzie Vector’s Chief Executive says that hot water outages will continue to be experienced – possibly as late as tomorrow while Transpower fully restores the transmission network into Auckland.
