Vector Lights joins the Lantern festival celebrations to welcome in the year of the Ox. First show starts 8:30pm on 22 February and repeats every half hour till midnight. Watch the lights form lanterns that float into the night sky. Can you spot the Ox on the bridge?
The story of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and the waka that sailed here will take centre stage on 23 January when the region celebrates its Māori heritage through Tāmaki Herenga Waka Festival. In recognition of this important celebration Vector Lights on the Harbour Bridge will light up in static colour alongside the festival performances.
As the first international city to welcome in the New Year, Auckland’s iconic landmarks are turning on a visual extravaganza for lucky visitors and residents to feast their eyes on as they countdown to 2020. The lights will shine from 9pm ahead of the main show (and livestream) just before midnight.
