Vector Lights is shining bright next week to celebrate play in Tāmaki Makaurau. Join us at Silo Park on Monday night (20 October), 7-9pm to take park in a range of glow-in-the-dark creative activities. See the dazzling Vector Lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge, play, create and connect at Creative Playground 2025 – where creativity knows no age limit. Vector Lights for Celebrating Play is part of Auckland Council’s month-long programme of engaging, free or low-cost activities spread right across Tāmaki Makaurau, all dedicated to play.
Vector Lights is glowing up pink 17-19 October, sending a message of support and hope during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The stunning light display is helping Breast Cancer Foundation NZ to remind New Zealanders that early detection is the best way to save lives from breast cancer.
The lights also illuminate the charity’s annual Pink Ribbon Street Appeal, taking place this Friday and Saturday. Thousands of volunteers will be out in force shaking pink buckets to collect donations for breast cancer research, education campaigns and patient support programmes.
