Waitangi Day is a national holiday that commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi between Māori rangatira (chiefs) and the British Crown. This year the Vector Lights for Waitangi Day show tells the story Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, and their migration to Tāmaki Makaurau – a stunning light show representing the unique Ngāti Whātua gold. The show will play from 9pm until midnight, every 30 minutes.
