  Vector Lights for Anzac Day will remember the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country. The dazzling and dynamic light show commemorates both Poppy Day (19 April) and Anzac Day (25 April). The show plays every 15 minutes from 6:00pm until midnight, and 5am to 7am on 25 April.

  Vector Lights on Auckland Harbour Bridge lights up for World of Cultures and in recognition of Race Relations Day (21 March). This year's show celebrates the unique diversity within Tāmaki Makaurau, drawing inspiration from the vibrant fabric patterns of different cultures. While you watch the live light show, listen to an accompanying audio track featuring Auckland musicians, sourced and mixed by DJ Stinky Jim. The show plays every 15 minutes from 8pm until midnight.

Designed by Hokimai-anahera (Ngāti Manuhiri, Ngāpuhi and Te Aupōuri), in collaboration with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei and Mandylights, the spectacular display reflects on the culturally diverse city that we live in today and will play from 9pm until midnight, every 15 minutes.

  Vector Lights for New Year's Eve 2023

  As the first major international city to welcome in the New Year, the iconic landmarks of Tāmaki Makaurau are lighting up to celebrate the countdown to 2024. Vector Lights on the Auckland Harbour Bridge are welcoming 2024 with a spectacular lighting show inspired by the ‘Auckland is Calling’ Tomokanga (entrance), reflecting the 19 iwi of Tāmaki Makaurau and the weaving together of people, land and sea.   Vector Lights will turn the Auckland Harbour Bridge green and red to track and celebrate the nation’s growing vaccination numbers.  The green lights along the bridge (from left to right) will represent the current total of New Zealanders who have been double vaccinated, with the red showing the remaining proportion needed to reach the 90% milestone across every DHB in the country. The lights will update in line with the increasing vaccination numbers, until 12 December at midnight.

  The rising of the Matariki star cluster heralds the beginning of the Māori new year. From 6pm to midnight see a creative lighting display that celebrates Matariki 2021 and helps to inform us of the rich history of our host iwi Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei and their migration to Tāmaki Makaurau. The show will play 19 - 20 and 25 - 27 June, 2-3 and 9-11 July.
