Vector Lights is part of a smart energy partnership between Vector, Auckland Council and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, to shine the spotlight on Auckland’s iconic Harbour Bridge all year around.

Vector Lights is shining bright on Auckland Harbour Bridge, celebrating iconic events, festivals and days of significance, as well as adding a bit of sparkle to your weekend with Vector Lights Celebrating Auckland - a stunning light show that runs every Friday and Saturday.

A perfect opportunity to get together with friends and family on the waterfront or at one of the many viewing spots around the city with a picnic.

Useful information

  • Keep updated on the details upcoming shows listed below or via our Vector Facebook page or Instagram @vectorlights.
  • Vector Lights Celebrating Auckland show will play every Friday and Saturday night (unless there's another show playing).
  • Shows run approximately 30 minutes after sunset and then every 15 minutes until midnight.
  • See some of the suggested viewing spots below.

Vector Lights for MEETINGS 2026

Vector Lights is showcasing Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for MEETINGS, New Zealand's premier business events trade show, happening at the NZICC. Vector Lights highlights the beauty of the Waitematā Harbour with a dynamic light and sound show on the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge, accompanied by waiata ‘Aaramoana’ by Ngāti Whātua featuring Raana Pihema.

Due to an ongoing outage, some lights will not appear on the western side of the Harbour Bridge. Our crew is working on it now, and the lights will be back once repairs are complete.
