Despite strong winds sticking around for longer than expected last night, our crews made great progress - 98% of customers affected now have power back on.

Some areas are taking a little longer to restore as it wasn’t safe to remove branches from lines in the dark overnight, however the arborists are back on site today, working to clear debris so our lines crews can fix any damage and get the power back on. We’re in direct contact with the customers still affected.
A huge thank you for your patience as we work through the final repairs - we know how frustrating it is to be without power. Our crews are out in full force, working through the public holiday and doing everything they can to get you back up and running as quickly and safely as possible.
